Amee Bay’s team of technicians will perform this work at their local facility under the Southwest Regional Maintenance Center Boatyard Lot 1 Repair and Overhaul contract. Under this award, Amee Bay will overhaul, modernize, and repair critical electrical and propulsion systems, as well as the hull and console areas. We are growing this type of work on both coasts. Amee Bay, in partnership with Fuji Film Systems, recently completed the installation of a state-of-the-art medical X-ray system on the USS KEARSARGE in Norfolk, VA. Amee Bay accurately and carefully prefabricated and installed the mounting structures for the X-ray machines. Amee Bay’s highly skilled electricians also made all the electrical and control connections from the ship’s power to the new machines. Amee Bay’s project lead and technicians worked closely with government personnel, ship’s force, and Fuji Film Systems experts to complete the install ahead of schedule and with a high level of quality. This new X-ray system will provide Marines and Sailors with a critical medical capability and greatly enhance at-sea life-saving health care. Amee Bay has numerous ongoing and upcoming installation and repair projects in Norfolk, VA, and San Diego, CA, so we are always looking for qualified personnel.
