We are excited to announce a significant leadership transition at AME! After 19 years of sustained success, AME is entering a new phase of innovation and expansion as we look toward the future. As part of this transition, our President, Mike McGuire will step into the role of Chief Executive Officer.?This transition will allow Mike to focus his efforts on resource management as well as development and implementation of long-term strategic goals. We are proud to promote Josh Thompson, PE, RCDD to President where he will oversee the day-to-day business activities of AME. He will ensure AME continues to bring considerable value to our clients through high quality, efficiency, and communication while maintaining focus on our company culture and providing our employees with a remarkable place to work. Josh brings fresh ideas and will continue advancing the vision that has guided our team toward excellence, building upon his tenure of employment with AME where he demonstrated exceptional growth, leadership, and dedication. Previously Director of Technology Design at AME, Josh's extensive knowledge and expertise will continue to enhance our firm's capabilities. Josh holds his Master of Business Administration degree as well as Graduate Certificates in Business Leadership and Business Analytics from NC State University.?He has Bachelor of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering, also from NC State University.?He is a licensed Professional Engineer and holds the RCDD, LEED AP BD+C, and CC certifications.?Josh has been performing electrical and technology design for projects here and abroad for 15 years through various markets and complexities.?Through his time with our firm, Josh has established and grown the Technology Design department and helped foster AME's positive, collaborative work environment. He has also held leadership roles in professional and community service organizations throughout his career. ?
