Congratulations to Judge Harjani! The attorneys of Amal Law Group, LLC have had the privilege of appearing before the Judge when he was a Magistrate Judge with the Northern District of Illinois. The United States Senate could not have confirmed a better, more qualified nominee for the position. Judge Harjani will, without doubt, be an asset to the bench with his keen ability to listen, understand, and adjudicate fairly.
? Highlight of the Week: Attending the investiture ceremony of U.S. Dist. Ct. Judge for the Northern District of Illinois Sunil Harjani.?My gratitude to the Honorable #Judge Harjani for inviting me to witness this milestone and listen to wonderful remarks by US Sen. Dick Durbin, US Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi, and Illinois Appellate Court Justice Sunjay Taylor, among other distinguished speakers.? Watching Judge Harjani take his oath of office, don his robe, sit next to Chief Judge Virginia M. Kendall and receive his gavel (and a folder with 290 cases!) with his new fellow jurists on either side was uplifting and truly sublime. Equally memorable were those remarks shared by his wife Priya Harjani and the Judge's children, describing who Judge Harjani is when not sitting behind the bench.
