We (AlwaysHired Sales Bootcamp) have the opportunity here to help one SDR turn into a full cycle closer - Could it be you? This company is using a blend of advanced technology & human expertise to provide comprehensive background screening services. You will have the opportunity to work with clients across various sectors while growing your own expertise in the HR and screening services space. ?? REMOTE w Piority to candidates in South Florida (Tell me at the top of your outreach if you are in this area, as it will put you to the top of my intv schedule!) ?? Experience & Skills - 1 to 3 years B2B outbound lead gen experience - You LOVE being a hunter and want to expand on this skill set rather than get away from it by becoming a closer. You will do both in this role, and you will be compensated accordingly. - Resilient (If you think lead gen is hard, let me tell you about closing...) - Proactive (You get ahead of problems and tasks.) - Curious (duh) - Coachable (duh) - I would be especially keen to hear from candidates with a background selling to HR. If you are in S. Florida, BDR experience in B2B capacity and you've sold to HR - I want you on my books ASAP. If this is you, send an email that tells me you meet these 3 requirements like the format I have provided below, share your # and you will be moved quickly for this process. ?? Compensation - 90 day tech sales residency: Earn $2,500/month your first 90 days while you learn in your new role. W2 from day 1. - Day 91 and beyond: $45,000-$50,000 base starting at entry level candidates w opportunity for more based on experience. - $105,000 - $135,000 total comp - Closing commissions are 8% year 1, 4% year 2 - Benefits & growth opportunity I love reading about y'alls experience for dayzzzzz with your 47 page long emails but let's make this easy.     ?? AI generated emails are prob hurting your chances at getting an SDR job. Why? AI can either hurt or help you. By the looks of my inbox and LI feed, I'd say a majority of you using AI, are on the ‘hurt’ side of the spectrum. ?? If you're an SDR candidate using AI to assist your job search, you definitely need to read this. Here's my thinking: ?? A *traditional* mistake such as a minor grammatical error, or misspelling of my name? No biggie, I’m a human too. Butttt when I see obvious signs of mistakes from being sloppy with AI? Heebie FREAKING Jeebies. NO! Here’s a broken down example of what not to do, as you’ll see in the screenshot attached. I refuse to open emails with the subject line “FROM PITCH TO PIPELINE” anymore. ? I got over 20 of them in a week, along with a 4 paragraph email that followed an identical format each time. ? Many of these emails missing customization tokens, like this image.? ? Every single one was pretty vague, and told me nothing legitimate about the candidate.? “I have good communication skills, I am driven and motivated” ?? ? Often these messages lack a call to action, therefore a clear purpose whatsoever... No bueno. When you make a mistake but otherwise articulate yourself well and show that you take time to be thoughtful & relevant - You’re probably in the clear. ???? When you over-rely on AI & send a faulty template, improperly used by many, all who made the same mistake.. That mistake compounds in severity for the recipient each time. Your message will go to ??? AI is creating an epidemic of lazy content that isn’t well-written or valuable at all. I’m a fan of AI, don't waste your time coming for me. But there’s a right way to do it. So what am I suggesting is ‘right?' ? 2X check your customization tokens.? ? I don’t recommend AI-suggested subject lines if you like staying out of Spam. Exceptions to this are if you a) Know how to use AI strategically (It seems most don’t,) or b) Have access to first party data at the account OR individual level that helps you create a hyper-relevant subject line with AI. ? Multi-paragraph long emails are never cool, especially when it’s the same one everyone else is using. Take the email that AI provides you initially, plug it back into the chat bar and say, “Make this more concise without removing key details.” ? Take that version of your email now, C&P back into the search bar, and give AI more detail to work with that is specific to YOU. Performance metrics, projects, accomplishments, etc. I have even cut and paste my LI profile into the chat bar and said “Customize this email to my experience, skills and metrics.” ?? In the era of AI, it's more important than ever to keep touch with human-ness while working in a digital format, and exercise the skill of pattern disruption too.     Beautiful landing in #Austin last night, visiting for the first time from Portland and enjoying #sxsw Couple of notes: 1) I was told “it’s not like Oregon, it is very flat there.” WOW is it FLAT! Is it weird that almost feels kind of ominous to me, having been in OR my whole life? I gotta be able to see for distance to feel safe, I guess. ?? 2) LOVEEEEE THE PEOPLE! Every single person I’ve cold approached to chat with has been SO COOL, engaged, conversational, or excellent customer service. Total opposite of the disassociative, avoidant PNW flavor of humans. ?? 3) I want allllllllll of the food here! Dinner last night was CAVA which is kinda like chipotle but Mediterranean. 11/10 recommend if you’re in the area! #SDR candidates and leaders, let’s connect!
