After renaming Cyber Defense Labs as OakTruss Group, they needed a new website, showing off the rebrand to their current and potential clients.? Functionally, the site needed to convey their growing offerings, their unique positioning and impressive employee roster. Aesthetically, we wanted to continue to pull through the brand promises of Partnership, Expertise and Trust, as well as ethos of connectivity and strength. With a deep navy and a copper accent, our simple and professional design created a cohesive brand design that brought the company to life across mobile and desktop platforms. For OakTruss Group, it’s more than a name. Formally known as Cyber Defense Labs, the company had grown in a way that the name no longer accurately represented their growing offerings. Expanding beyond cyber defense (and no longer wanting to be confused with a Commercial Drivers License a.k.a. “CDL”) meant Altura needed to start from the ground up - with a strategic Brand Foundation to understand their positioning and offerings, naming, a fresh logo, and style guide. Naming is not always easy, and with strict trademark guidelines, and a desire for a totally unique but not nonsensical name, this one was a challenge!
