Help me convince Noga Golan to cut an $8M+ check to air this on Sunday… I asked, but she said maybe next year ?? [Turn the sound on!!] The biggest day in marketing & advertising is almost here (oh, and the Eagles making a stand against KC’s reign over the NFL) ?? I was going to write a normal LinkedIn post about my favorite Super Bowl ad and how it ties into food & sustainability… blah blah blah. But why do that when I can just make my own Super Bowl ad? ?? Watch below & tell me—should we have gone all in on the $8M airtime? ?? Either way, on Sunday I’ll be cheering on the birds ?? with mom (Philly born & raised!)—and having one of her famous Beyond Meat Philly cheesesteaks ?? ?? ?? Proud to showcase Alt Protein Partners & Alt Protein Careers in this spot—highlighting the future of food, sustainability, and careers in the space. Special thanks to The Good Food Institute for the resources featured throughout the video! #marketing #superbowl #career #sustainability #foodsystems

Last spring, our founder visited Believer's 200,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility (then under construction) -- the largest in the world for cultivated meat. Since then, Believer Meats partnered with GEA Group to drive down the costs of production and signed an MoU with Abu Dhabhi's Agrifood Growth & Water Abundance hub (focused on sustainable technologies in the production of food and water.) Now, “Believer is on track to overcome the biggest obstacles to scalability,” according to Believer CEO, Gustavo Burger, and the company is hiring for numerous roles across the U.S. and Israel ?? https://lnkd.in/gfY_w2-M This is just one of many promising sustainable food companies we're following that are working on exciting food solutions for our planet!
??Believer Meats, we’re ready to help you hire a team in North Carolina! Visiting The Triangle in North Carolina and meeting so many cutting edge companies was great, but spending time with my brother Tal Golan and visiting Believer Meats’ future facility was the highlight. Believer is building a 200,000 square foot cultivated meat plant in Wilson, North Carolina, that is slated to be the biggest of its kind.

Read the latest from our Founder Noga Golan on why the Netherlands is home to so many alt protein and food innovation companies???? ??
Why is the Netherlands so good at food innovation? As you may have expected, history and geography play major roles: ?? ?? ?????????????? ?????? ???????? ???? ???????? ????????????????? With 26% of its land below sea level and up to 65% at risk of submersion from climate disasters, the Netherlands isn’t just thinking about climate change—it’s living it. Rising sea levels and historic weather events, such as the devastating 1953 flood that submerged over 200,000 hectares of the country’s land underwater, have shaped the Dutch mindset to be proactive, not reactive. ????? ???????? ???????????? ???????????? ???????????????????? Aware of the imminent risks of flooding from rising sea levels, coupled with the land scarcity of the densely populated nation, the Dutch poured investment into agri-food innovation. This lead to the rise of Wageningen University & Research—known as the "Silicon Valley of Food," and the development of "food valleys," where startups, researchers, and industry giants collaborate on food and agtech innovation (you can read more about this in my previous post, here: https://lnkd.in/g8KK8Fqf) ???? ?????? ????’?? ?????????? The Netherlands has become a true expert in the efficiency of food production. ??The Dutch government continues to provide R&D subsidies, tax incentives, and climate-driven grants to support food innovation. ?The Netherlands’ universities and tech institutes both attract and produce a steady stream of food science and agritech talent. ??The Netherlands has the 2nd highest number of alt protein companies per capita (just behind Israel). ?????????????? ??????’???? ???????? ??????????:? ??Flora Food Group, the world’s largest plant-based CPG company, with 4,800 employees and annual sales of over €3 billion ? ??Two of the largest cultivated meat companies in the world, Mosa Meat and Meatable ??Unilever’s food unit, with much of its plant-based products developed there? ??RESPECTfarms, a Dutch startup started by Ira van Eelen, which aims to center farmers in the production of cell-cultivated meat by building bioreactors in barns rather than factories, with government funding. ??The Protein Brewery, a company using novel fermentation processes to create Fermotein, a highly nutritious, affordable, and sustainable protein alternative made from microorganisms. ??Major production facilities of international plant-based meat company Redefine Meat and Scotland’s mycoprotein company, ENOUGH? ??Food Innovation Hubs & Incubators: WUR, Foodvalley NL, and Planet B.io ??AgTech movers & shakers such as Hazera Seeds (breeds, develops, & produces seeds in a wide range of crops around the world), Corteva Agriscience's R&D Center (focuses on sustainable farming practices, seed development, and food security innovations), and Koppert Cress (sustainable crop protection solutions). Who did I miss…??
