It takes a long time. We used to sit in the lobby of the Asian Venture Capital Journal (AVCJ) conference hoping to meet LPs (could not afford entrance fee to the main conference). After a decade of dominance by China based VCs, Korea VC ecosystem gets recognition with the emergence of powerhouses such as Coupang, KRAFTON Inc., (?)?????? (Woowa Bros.) Viva Republica (Toss), Toss Bank(????), etc.
