What started as a simple conversation in 2000 has grown into a powerful tradition uniting the San Antonio construction community. "Construct A Kid's Christmas" was born out of a shared commitment to ensure every foster child in Bexar County feels the joy of the season. Over the years, this incredible initiative has raised over $1.2 million and donated more than 33,000 toys to children in need. This year, Alterman proudly contributed 515 toys thanks to the amazing support from everyone who attended our Open House! Your generosity helps bring smiles and hope to so many kids during the holidays. We are honored to stand with the construction community in supporting the Bexar County Child Welfare Board and Child Advocates of San Antonio. For Week 7 of our 8 Weeks of Giving campaign, Alterman is proud to support The 100 Club of San Antonio! The 100 Club of San Antonio is a lifeline for the families of fallen or severely injured local, state, and federal first responders in Bexar County. Since 1973, they've stepped in during the toughest times, providing immediate financial aid, safety training, and mental health support. Within 24-48 hours of a tragedy, they deliver funds for urgent needs and continue long-term support, including educational funding for surviving children. Completely citizen-based, they proudly serve all law enforcement and fire personnel in Bexar County.
