Alter Behavioral Health is continuing to transform lives! Our 2024 YTD measurement-based care results are in - and they're even more impressive when you consider that we have served a total of 322 clients. Among these individuals, we witnessed a remarkable 26% decrease in anxiety and a 20% decrease in depression! At ABH, our belief that every client matters is proven through the data-backed, positive outcomes we've achieved this year. As we are in the depths of November, a time of reflection and thanksgiving, we're kicking off a special series highlighting the incredible team members who bring compassion, dedication, and gratitude into everything they do. This week, we’re spotlighting two of our amazing Admissions team members, Janell Linler and Morgan Aird. Their commitment to helping others, paired with their heartfelt expressions of #gratitude, inspires us all to live and work with purpose! Here’s what Janell shared about her journey: "This holiday season, I am thankful for team Alter. Since working with Alter, my life has been transformed into a beautiful piece of art. The leadership team has taught me in the most kind and inspiring way, and my direct boss is the reason for my personal growth. My coworkers I work with daily are fun and supportive. On this Veterans Day, we honor and celebrate the service of all veterans, including our own Alexis Dea, whose journey in the Marine Corps is a testament to resilience and commitment. Alexis, a first-generation Marine, felt a calling to serve from a young age. She walked into a recruiting office at just 16, driven by a gut feeling that would lead her into one of the most challenging military branches. Determined to prove herself, she embraced the Marine Corps’ demands, ultimately undergoing over a year of rigorous training before officially beginning her journey as a Marine. Her dedication and drive led her to Camp Pendleton, where she served as a correctional specialist for five years, working as the first female prison guard at the brig. Reflecting on Veterans Day, Alexis says, “It’s a time to honor the service and sacrifices of all veterans, past and present. It symbolizes the commitment and resilience of those who serve, highlighting the value of duty, camaraderie, and perseverance.” Today, Alexis continues her service with us at Alter, embodying the strength and compassion she developed in the Marines. She reminds us daily of the importance of commitment to a higher purpose, resilience, and a drive to help others.
