Inflatable products include aerostats, hangars, shelters, and custom inflatables. Altaeros UK is headquartered in Wrexham, Wales with a production facility located in the Wrexham Industrial Estate. Altaeros UK will be responsible for all of our fabric manufacturing needed to create our aerostats, including the hull, fins, and ballonet systems. INTRODUCING: ST-400 Autonomous Aerostat. The new ST-400 is designed to carry over 900 lbs/408kg of mission-critical payloads at a height of over 2,500 feet AGL. Building on the success of ST-Flex, ST-400 larger aerostat system will enable Altaeros to meet the increase in demand for multi-mission payload capabilities such as cUAS, radar, and EO/IR sensors onboard an autonomous aerostat system. The new ST-400 will join Altaeros’ fleet of autonomous aerostats enabled with Aerostat Autopilot?, allowing for autonomous flight operations with no on-site crew is required for launch, recovery, or day-to-day flight management. Here at Altaeros U.K. we use two different types of welding, but how do we determine which method is best for each project? Hot air welding is controlled by temperature, pressure, and speed, allowing the weld team to regulate the bonding process and create high-quality seams. High-frequency welding works differently, using electromagnetic energy to heat and fuse materials at a molecular level. This results in strong, uniform welds. The decision depends on the function and performance requirements of the weld. By using the right welding method for each application, we ensure our products achieve the highest levels of strength, durability and efficiency whilst maintaining lightweight, gastight and reliable structures.?
