On Tuesday, November 18th, the US House of Representatives passed the Senator Elizabeth Dole 21st Century Veterans Healthcare and Benefits Improvement Act with an overwhelming 399-9 vote. For the #ALS veteran community, this legislation represents a significant step forward in improving access to critical care and support services. The bill addresses several key areas that will directly impact #veterans living with ALS: Streamlined access to #VAhealthcare services ? Expanded home care support options ? Enhanced caregiver support programs ? Improvements to long-term care services for disabled veterans ? Modernized #VA service delivery systems This legislation was passed because of outreach from passionate advocates from across the country. Your stories make the difference.
