Enjoying wine has never been easier! ?? What was once rarely seen outside of small-scale examples, such as on aeroplanes, is now gaining momentum as a sustainable alternative. Switching from glass to PET wine bottles can significantly reduce weight, carbon emissions, and costs. ?? In Germany alone, around one billion wine bottles are produced annually. A shift to PET would result in a 450,000-tonne weight reduction—equivalent to 11,250 fully loaded trucks or 45 Eiffel Towers! ?? Our colleagues in the Netherlands collected the deposit refunds from all cans and bottles sold in the canteen. ???? Employees had the choice, where the funds would be donated, and this year, they chose Ronald McDonald House - an organisation that provides families with a place to stay close to the hospital while their child receives medical treatment. ??
