Dear Alpine Parrot Community, After five incredible years challenging norms in outdoor apparel, we've made the tough decision to close Alpine Parrot's doors. Our Alpine Parrot Story I founded Alpine Parrot in 2019 with a simple dream: create outdoor clothing for people in bigger bodies to feel comfortable and confident in nature. We've challenged industry standards, celebrated diversity, and built a community of adventurers who refuse to be limited by clothing sizes. Awards and retailer partnerships felt good, but your joy truly made every minute worth it. What's Next? As we close this chapter, we want our gear to find homes where it'll be loved and used. Here's what you need to know: 1. We're offering 40%+ off everything. All sales final - don't miss out! 2. Our website closes December 1st, 2024. Once inventory's gone, it's gone. 3. Coming soon: "Almost Parrot" sale of prototypes (puffy jackets, midlayers, rain jackets). Limited colors/sizes, same AP quality. A Personal Note This wasn't an easy decision. Sharing this news is the hardest part. I'm deeply grateful to everyone who supported Alpine Parrot. Whether customer, cheerleader, or believer in our mission, you've been crucial to this adventure. We've impacted lives and pushed the outdoor industry towards inclusivity. Though Alpine Parrot is closing, the conversation about size inclusivity in outdoor gear continues. Keep advocating for change, supporting inclusive brands, and enjoying the outdoors in whatever body you have.
