  • Alpine County Unveils Conceptual Designs for Turtle Rock Park Master Plan Alpine County, June 28, 2024 – Alpine County is excited to announce the release of the first conceptual designs for the Turtle Rock Park Master Plan. This milestone marks a pivotal step in our ongoing efforts to enhance and revitalize one of our community’s most cherished recreational spaces. The conceptual designs, crafted by Design Workshop, aim to create an environment that will serve both residents and visitors. The proposed plans include a variety of features such as improved picnic areas, upgraded trails, new playgrounds, and enhanced facilities to support a wide range of outdoor activities. “We are thrilled to share these initial designs with the community,” said Sam Booth, Community Development Director of Alpine County. “Turtle Rock Park is a treasured asset, and our goal is to ensure it returns as a vibrant and welcoming space for everyone. We look forward to receiving valuable feedback from our residents and visitors to help shape the planning process.” Alpine County invites all community members and visitors to review the draft concepts and provide their input. Your feedback is crucial in ensuring the master plan meets the diverse needs and desires of our community.
