One way Alphapointe provides employment opportunities for those who are blind or have vision loss is our Plastics and Micro Molding Division. With our investment in state-of-the-art equipment, we are able to produce prescription and supplement bottles, various containers for janitorial use, and small and micro-molded components. Our plastic molding operations include various processes: custom, injection micro, injection blow, extrusion, and injection stretch blow molding. These are produced in an ISO 9001-certified facility. “Through Our Eyes” is Alphapointe’s monthly blog focusing on perspectives from people living with vision loss, written by Cameron Black, who has been blind from birth. This time around he writes about Daniel Jones, his family, and his journey from having 20/20 vision to being completely blind after a Leber’s Hereditary Optic Neuropathy diagnosis. Daniel shared, “I can do anything I set my mind to, and don’t tell me I can’t because the minute you do, I will figure out a way.” Read the full piece at this link: https://bit.ly/3O6m0Yn.
