What better way to celebrate Women's History Month than by recognizing women making history? Alpha Phi Foundation is proud to announce Stanford University School of Medicine as the recipient of the 2025 Heart to Heart Grant! In partnership with University of Ottawa Heart Institute, this year's team is comprised of all female health professionals and is the first recipient to feature cross-country collaboration. Lead Investigator Dr. Katharine Sears-Edwards says this about their endeavor, SCAD@Heart: "We aim to learn whether evidence-based peer support to reduce stress and psychological distress is feasible and can improve outcomes among female cardiac patients.
