Last week, our shop teams came together with their families for a night out at Dave & Buster's! This event is a way to celebrate wins while sharing them with the people most important in our teams' lives. When we work hard, we play hard!

????♂? ?? If You're Not First, You're Last ??♂? ? Yesterday myself and Grant Ware had the opportunity to join some of our favorite partners in a golf tournament meant to focus on networking and relationship building. Fortunately for us, my three teammates were absolutely dialed in on the course and we got 1st place, and Dillon Ufer actually won the Long Drive competition. Austin Davis sank one of the best chip shots I have ever seen from about 75 yards away to give us an eagle on the hole. On a serious note, I am BAD at golf, but yesterday was a great reminder on how important it is to surround yourself with people that make you better, that challenge you to be your best, and that want to see you win. Thankful to work with such great people at Alpha Paving Industries LLC because that is true of all the people in our organization. It was a beautiful day to be outside and we had a great time. It got me fired up even more for the BOMA SW Region Golf Tournament coming up in a few weeks. Those events really are a great time to build some lasting and real connections with potential partners and customers. Looking forward to connecting with some great people here in a few weeks.

Last Friday, we celebrated Employee Appreciation Day by treating our team to some sweet snacks and new Alpha swag as a small token of our gratitude. Our employees consistently give 110% every day, no matter the challenges they face. They always show up and get the job done. On the last day of Women in Construction Week, we have one more employee to highlight. Yesterday we introduced you to the sales and marketing team members. While a majority of their efforts are geared towards customers, on occasion, their talents for generating buy-in are needed internally. We got there, though, and thankful we did because Becky definitely deserves to be highlighted! Becky is an Accounts Receivable Specialist. She is a vital part of the accounting team, keeping projects on track by ensuring correct and timely invoicing. She brings years of construction accounting experience to our team and helps keep us on time and projects on pace! #WomenInConstruction
