Alpha Coffee

Honored to have raised my right hand at 17 and served 21 years in the US Army, from E1 to O5 with lots of deployments - combat, peacekeeping, training and otherwise. I learned to authentically live the Army Values, overcame obstacles, did difficult things, grew tremendously, met some of the best people, and loved serving and protecting those who needed it. I’m also proud to keep serving my family as a husband of 35 years to Lori my soulmate and best friend, as a father and father-in-law of three amazing humans Denai Trevor and Tyler, as a grandfather to Siegfried- who is a bright shining light that gives me hope for the future, and as a son, brother and in-law to an extended family I love dearly. I’m proud to keep serving my community as an entrepreneur and small, local business owner with my wife Lori. We built a business in our basement with our kids through sheer hard work and determination, and grew it to 30 employees who work hard every day to offer a high quality product and skilled service to our customers. I beam with pride when our customers tell us on a regular basis how great our coffee, our service, our shops and our team are. I especially beam with pride when team members tell us how much they love working at Alpha. And through Alpha we continue to serve by sending donated coffee to deployed troops and giving back regularly to non profits that help veterans and their families, that protect our wild places and heal our planet, and that make our community a better place. I’m also proud to keep serving our nation as a citizen who votes regularly, finds common ground with those I may not agree with, and knows and talks to our representatives in our city, state and national legislatures. I happily pay my fair share of taxes to support a strong military - law enforcement - first responders - teachers - roads and infrastructure - clean water and air - Social Security and Medicare for our elderly - and more. I continue to speak out against injustice, volunteer, give back, encourage young people to serve their communities, and do everything I can to help America move forward toward a better future and a more perfect Union!
