Busy week including a Citation X with elevator pitch feel issues and a Beechjet 400 with a fuel leak. Our techs are staying versatile!

This Challenger 604 was having intermittent issues with the Automatic Power Reserve System. The manufacturer's technical support said that they didn't think it could be switch related. They wanted our techs to look at the wiring of the control amplifiers and possibly swap engine ECU's. Luckily, we decided to look at the APR and Engine Speed switches in the center pedestal before moving onto the troubleshooting instructions provided and found the issue. It turned out being a bad solder point on pole #3 of one of the L Engine Speed Switch. It took a total of 4 hours to find the issue and repair the solder point. Our techs could have been swayed to not look at this at all and ran down a rabbit hole that could have lasted days; but their general knowledge, experience and intuition allowed them to find this issue in a very timely manner and save the customer a lot of money! Techs did a great job troubleshooting the flap system on a Citation 560XL with a continuous Hydraulic Pressure Annunciator when the flaps were at 0.

We had a customer with a CJ3 in PHL that had a speed brake issue. Turns out a flap switch was out of rig and causing the speed brakes to not work properly in ground flaps setting. It took a bit of time but in the end, we sent them on their way!
