Yesterday was our Annual Chili Cookoff as well as the drop off date for our shoeboxes for Semaritan's Purse! We saw a lot of generousity from the team, and the cookoff had seven different chilis for everyone to sample. Alpha & Omega Group is participating this year in Samaritan's Purse's Operation Christmas Child. This annual project started in 1993 and is now the world's largest Christmas project of this kind. Every year, Samaritan's Purse collects shoeboxes filled with toys, school supplies and even hygiene items for children around the world. To date, over 220 million gifts have been given to children in more than 170 countries and territories. We'll be collecting our boxes on November 21.
