Some people have been there from the beginning ???? and Raul Mangalindan is one of them. Raul is a seasoned auditor with decades of experience in integrated internal auditing, control and risk assessment, digital analysis, and fraud for insurance and telecommunications companies, and a bank. He currently works as a consultant. He is also an advocate of #volunteerism. His selfless nature led him to be the president of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association –ISACA Toronto. Thanks to this unique mix of skills, he was instrumental in creating the ALPFA Canada chapter. He has helped expand the ALPFAmilia across the country to this day ????. Now, he serves as our EVP of Operations within our Board of Directors. Congratulations on your day, Raul! ?? In 2021, Carlos Chalico made a life-changing decision for many Latinxs in Canada ????. ALPFA already had decades of experience creating opportunities for Latinx professionals in the United States ????. The next step, he thought, was expanding up North. Being the friendly, helpful and restless person that he is, he decided to found the first ALPFA chapter outside of the US, in Toronto, where he works for EY. Aware of what migrants can achieve, he formed a Board of Directors with Latinx professionals from top-notch GTA companies. Together they embarked on a journey that continues to expand three years later. ALPFA Canada has been growing ever since. With chapters in Toronto, Montreal and more to be opened (Calgary up next,) we connect students, early-career and seasoned professionals with growth opportunities and moral support. You’ll see Carlos greeting as many guests as possible at every single one of our events, always with a big smile. ?? Thank you, Carlos! Inquieto, servicial y sociable como es él, decidió abrir el primer capítulo en Toronto, donde trabaja para EY Canada.
