Earlier this week for our first general meeting, we had the pleasure of hearing from KPMG! A huge thank you to the amazing team—Meredith Brown, Reggie Rodriguez, and Samantha Torres—for joining us. They delivered an inspiring talk on?"Mastering Mental Health and Imposter Syndrome,"?emphasizing to our members the importance of self-awareness and working towards personal growth. In addition, they shared insights into KPMG’s opportunities, initiatives, and the ways they invest in their employees. Last week, we had the honor of hosting our fall Women of ALPFA Panel! It was a privilege to hear from the inspiring Isabel Esteviz, Janet Gonzales, and Angélica Bola?os. These accomplished women shared their journeys, opened up about the challenges they’ve overcome as Latina professionals, and offered invaluable advice to our members on building confidence and advocating for themselves. Yesterday, ALPFA welcomed back Isabel Esteviz, who spoke to our chapter about her topic, "Confidence Confidential: The Secret to Unshakeable Self-Confidence." The meeting was filled with inspiring words as she shared how one of the keys to success and happiness lies in discovering confidence from within. It is always a pleasure to have Isabel Esteviz with us—her confidence and wisdom are admirable, and her message will undoubtedly leave a lasting impact on our members. Thank you so much to EY for coming out to our general meeting last week. We had the opportunity to hear from Maddie Jones and?the rest of the team?on their topic, "Tips and Tricks on Preparing for a Behavioral Interview." At this meeting, our members learned valuable hacks from professionals on how to make a strong impression during interviews. Our members also had the chance to explore EY's career opportunities and network with these professionals.
