Located in sunny, beautiful Miami, FL, the sprawling Alper JCC Miami on The Jay Morton-Levinthal Campus lies in the heart of the suburb of Kendall. Convenient and accessible, our Center provides many opportunities for the Jewish community and all south Miami-Dade County residents to enjoy recreational, educational, cultural and social activities. We offer our members and guests the chance to meet and connect with individuals and families from all over. For fitness enthusiasts, our Fitness Center is a great place to play racquetball, train with a friend in the gym, play tennis or swim in our chilled/heated 25-yard outdoor swimming pool. We offer a home to a wide selection of adult programs and our children's department offers the young and young at heart a place to gather and socialize. Also, our Sablotsky Cultural Arts Center hosts visual arts exhibits and performances of all ages and focuses on bringing renowned Jewish artists, authors, and entertainers for the community to enjoy! Alper JCC Miami is also home to many high-quality programs, each recognized for its excellence and commitment to the community. Our superb A.P.P.L.E. accredited Glen Greenstein Early Childhood Development Center offers families the perfect setting for their children, infants through preschoolers, to grow, learn, and appreciate Jewish heritage. For children and teenagers, the JDays After School Program provides a structured yet fun environment; and our Camp J Miami summer camp gives campers the opportunity to grow and expand their horizons. The Special Needs Program offers a fun, stimulating, and dynamic program for children, teens, and adults with cognitive and/or physical disabilities and has been widely recognized for its services as well. As a community agency, we strive to strengthen the Jewish community by promoting Jewish values, ethics, and traditions through our programs and services. We are #YourJEveryday!

A huge thank you to everyone who made Discovery Day at the J such a blast! With over 500 attendees, it was amazing seeing everyone dancing with our live DJ, exploring activities with Miami-Dade Police, and having fun on the waterslides and bounce houses! From delicious snacks and food trucks to Rosh Hashanah activities and fitness trials like Zumba, pickleball, tennis, and more, the day was filled with fun, family, and community! We loved seeing familiar faces and meeting new ones. Thank you for being part of our community! This morning's Annual Meeting truly celebrated Brad Sokol's dedication and leadership as Board Chair from 2022 to 2024. Attendees warmly recognized the contributions of outgoing board members and welcomed the new 2024-2025 board. The morning culminated with the introduction of Andrew Wolf as our incoming Board Chair. A heartfelt thank you to Brad for his outstanding service, and mazel tov to Andrew as he steps into his new role!
