Experience Alonzo King’s first-ever collaboration with Grammy nominated jazz trumpeter/composer Ambrose Akinmusire, performing live with LINES Ballet. Philip brings to LINES Ballet more than 20 years of experience in marketing, communications, editorial, promotions, print and digital publishing, advertising, and institutional branding. ? Philip's wide range of professional experiences include key marketing and communications leadership positions at San Francisco Ballet, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, Houston’s Alley Theatre, Children's Council of San Francisco, and Mark Day School. As a freelance writer and MarCom consultant, his clients have included?Stanford Live and KQED. He is a frequent arts writer for the?Bay Area Reporter, primarily focusing on dance.? ? Philip holds a B.A. in Mass Communications. A lifetime arts enthusiast, he has choreographed and consulted with numerous scholastic and independent dance programs across the United States.? ? San Francisco LINES Day January 12 at 10:00 AM?-?5:00 PM LINES Day is a one-day workshop designed to expand the technical and artistic excellence of intermediate to pre-professional students ages 11–35. Get a sneak peek into the experience and process that makes Alonzo King LINES Ballet and education programs so transformative.
