?? I was able to go from AI generated image to avatar using Midjourney, Comfy UI, Rodin, Blender, Accurig and Iclone 8. Using this pipeline I was able to create this representation of my favorite TNMT character Leonardo! Testing this on a non human faced character was interesting and proved to be a bit more challenging that expected as I had to generate the head separate and likely would do the same for the hands and feet in a professional setting. I'll caveat with there are some consistency issues going from image to character sprite sheet in comfy ui and requires manual cleanup and work inside photoshop as well as a bit in blender to merge meshes which needed to be generated separate. Topology will need to be redone and the model optimized in many ways. Regardless of any early days limitations this is pretty mind blowing to be able to make game ready avatars in hours vs weeks. A full step by step tutorial will be placed out next week from Sombra Labs and show you how you can do the same! I must also say thank you to Cory Williams and his awesome He-man and Skeletor dance-off which served as inspiration to create this and also to Mick Mahler for his ground breaking comfy ui character workflow. ?? ?? #ai #genai #animation #avatar
