Our Mission Aloha United Way brings resources, organizations and people together to advance the health, education and financial stability of every person in our community. Our Roots Aloha United Way was originally established by Frank C. Hawai?i's Helpline ?? In 2023, Aloha United Way’s 211 Helpline received 58,143 requests for help, connecting local families to resources for food, housing, utility assistance, and more. As Kayla Keehu-Alexander, our VP of Community Impact, shares: “People are doing all the right things, but Hawai‘i’s high cost of living makes it nearly impossible to thrive.” Through programs like the 211 Helpline, we’re working to fill those gaps and ensure that every call for help is met with compassion and actionable support.
