This past month, #ALMAChicago kicked off our LGBTQ+ Leadership Institute with nine budding leaders who are working to advance rights for our communities. Reflecting on this cohort, ALMA Executive Director Manuel noted that: "Investing in the development of Latinx and LGBTQ+ leaders is not just about representation—it’s about building power, equity, and lasting change. When we uplift our voices and build our leadership pathways, we ensure our communities have the advocacy, resources, and influence needed for them and our communities to thrive."
