A few weeks back, we ran a poll on both LinkedIn and Instagram asking our readers and followers what they saw as the most highly anticipated #padel club opening of early 2025. While there were many, many contenders including Padel Haus (in Nashville), Padel Alley (in Tucson), Smash Padel (in Boulder, CO), and Padel Plant (in Richmond, VA), two clubs completely ran away with the vote. Very excited to see long-awaited #padel clubs like Smash Padel in #Boulder, CO... Padel Haus in #Nashville.. and Alma Padel in #Chicago posting job listings and court installation videos on social media that indicate they are getting very close to finally opening their doors. So, I thought it would be interesting to do a little poll among our readers:

When it comes to the world of U.S. #padel, it appears as though #Chicago is about to have a ?????????? moment... That's because in the next few months alone: ?? Abigail McCulloch and team are set to open a four-court indoor facility in Glenview, IL, known as Alma Padel... ?? Fabian Gosselin P. and team will open a five-court indoor facility in the West Loop known as Union Padel Club, and... ?? The team behind Cube Padel (which already has a five-court indoor #padelclub in #Houston) will be opening a #SouthChicago location as early as January 11. Oh, and let's keep in mind that's all on top of: ?? The outdoor padel court that was installed at Saddle & Cycle Club earlier this year... ?? The indoor padel court that Instantcourts recently installed at a massive Chicago #pickleball facility known as the SPF Winter Fieldhouse... ?? The massive padel and pickleball facility that the Park District of Highland Park will be opening in the Spring of 2025, and... ?? The forthcoming project from Alex Vainberg, known as Proximo Padel, which could feature as many as seven padel courts when it opens later in 2025 or early 2026. (What's more, as the Professional Squash Association recently reported, Project Beacon will also soon be bringing a revolutionary outdoor public #squash court to Chicago's Union park along with #tennis and #pickleball courts -- so perhaps we'll see padel there soon, too????). If 2024 was the "breakthrough" year for #padel here in the U.S., then 2025 may well be its breakout year, thanks to dozens of new #padelclubs that are set to open across the U.S. in the near future.
