Weeks were spent diving into routines, procedures, expectations, & culture. The benefit was also present for returning staff to fine-tune their classroom routines and redefine the climate and culture they wanted to see in their classrooms. Our Crew
To deliver on the commitments we’ve made with our scholars & families, we know our crew must be masters in our craft. In order to be our best selves we need to be diverse in talent, perspectives, and experiences. We must foster a culture that encourages us to leverage our strengths and differences in a way that ignites our creativity and excels our performance. To that end we are intentional about the talent we seek, how we engage our families and scholars, and the values we aim to lead by.
Meet our Crew Crew CodeAlmazing Fund
The Almazing Fund is a donor-driven effort to support teachers as they build their own content knowledge through enriching experiences. Any teacher at Alma may write a grant proposal to the Almazing Fund and grants are awarded annually. Whether it be touring the major art institutions in Europe, visiting the South to study the Civil Rights Movement or hiking the Glacier National Parks, we know that the best teachers are those that immerse themselves in their own learning.
