You think you want to be around successful people, but you don’t.? Because if you did, you would. The reason you don’t? You’re not ready to leave your comfort zone. Before heading to Costa Rica, I was feeling near the top of my game.? 20 days of no drinking, THC, social media, TV, and distractions. I was locked in and in a nice groove.? Content was popping off. Routine was dialed in. But I was also spending a lot of time alone. Immersed in my own work. Living a 10/10 life by yourself is one thing.? Living a 10/10 life with your family and friends is another. You can have thriving friendships, and be an absent son.? You can be a top performer, and have mediocre work relationships.? You can be in amazing physical shape, and disconnected from your emotions. The essence of a 10/10 life is to feel complete in all parts of life.? The goal is progress, not perfection. The past few days, I was challenged to step into a higher version of myself.? To be a better son, a better friend, more connected with others. If you’re not surrounded by a group of people who challenge you.? It’s worth asking… are you even ready yet? If the answer is no, then the work begins with you. Start working on yourself with 1:1 therapists and coaches. I worked with several before joining the Alluviance community. Going to 3 day+ in-person immersions every 2-3 months has challenged me way more than a weekly 1-hour Zoom call with therapists and coaches. One of my favorite quotes during my loneliest times has been:? "When the student is ready, the teacher appears.” I'm grateful to have 40+ other teachers in my life at Alluviance. Loneliness is something I struggled with for 30+ years.? Now, I no longer do. I struggle with a ton of other things. But these struggles are molding me into a better person. The question now for you is, "If you're not surrounded by the people you want to be around, what challenges are you avoiding?" Because if you wanted to be around them, you would.

For most of my career, I’ve been obsessed with the inner game—the idea that the more I invest in my own growth, the better I show up for my clients, colleagues, and partners. Growth isn’t just about learning new strategies or refining skills; it’s about deepening self-awareness, expanding capacity, and doing the work to operate at the highest level—personally and professionally. This past week, I had the privilege of spending five days in Costa Rica at another Alluviance immersion, surrounded by an incredible group of sellers, sales leaders, and founders. The conversations, challenges, and breakthroughs that happened in that space left me feeling inspired, grounded, and more committed than ever to continuous growth. Truly a transformational week in Costa Rica with some of the most amazing and powerful people I've met. I joined Alluviance back in August in hopes that I could be more present, confident, and become a stronger seller and, what I've found is soooo much more. I've built deep relationships with some seriously cool, loving, and strong people, explored who I truly am while owning ALL of it, and challenged my mind, body, heart, and soul in ways I never thought possible. When Alex Kremer slid in my DMs in November '23, little did I know the profound impact that he and Alluviance were about to have on my life. As someone who had associated so much of their self-worth with their career and the "Achievement Mountain", I was looking to bring more purpose and fulfillment into my life. I found that and more in this community. I just finished my 4th retreat in Costa Rica with this amazing crew of talented sales closers, leaders, and founders. What I can tell you is that my vision and outlook on life has never been clearer. Without this community, I would have never been introduced to so many things that bring clarity and presence to me: visioning, journaling, yoga, breath work, meditation, and even relational presencing (even I'll admit this is a bit out there ??). Is some of this sh*t weird for me to discuss? For sure. At the end of the day, I'm going to make the most out of the one shot on life we get. The question is: How will you?

10th retreat. First international one. The most powerful one yet. Just wrapped up 5 days in Costa Rica with 40 sales pros, leaders, and founders. We tapped into something much deeper than just sales. We dove into the inner work that fuels success. What it looked like: - Breathwork - Visualization - Cold plunges - Waterfall hikes - Yoga & meditation - A Temazcal sweat lodge What I'm most grateful for is how much this community pushed themselves. The real inner work was done like we'd never done it before. On the mind, the soul, and the human behind the quota. Alluviance is helping people hit President’s Clubs, land dream roles, and launch their own businesses. But most importantly, it's helping: ?? Build unshakable confidence ?? Find purpose beyond the pipeline ?? Feel truly seen, supported, and connected I wish I had something like this when I was grinding in tech sales. Grateful to be building it now. The last week changed my life forever. I'm feeling some type of way after 5 days in Costa Rica. I signed up for an Immersion with Alluviance in December. I was expecting to learn some sales skills, make a few friends, explore the gorgeous land of Costa Rica, and further refine my BIG vision on this retreat. I did jump off a waterfall and make a ton of new friends. But I had no idea what would emerge through: - Intense breathwork - Challenging yoga flows - Reconnecting with nature - 3 minutes in the cold plunge - Relational presencing exercises - A temezcal sweat lodge (look it up) - Somatic inquiry & emotional release I'm still processing everything... Here are 7 lessons I can share so far: 1. Steps back allow you to leap forward 2. Mindset is critical... so is Somatic work 3. Everyone has a story, including you 4. I'm craving depth — in every area of life 5. More feeling, less thinking necessary 6. You are far more powerful than you realize 7. When I worked in tech sales, I remember being pressured to work weekends, burn partnerships to the ground, and harrass clients to buy just to hit our number... Leadership didn't want to hire anyone who wanted a "work-life" balance. Lockeroom cultures. Hostile work environments. Keggers & drugs in the office. Toxic masculinity driven by ego, status, power, and money... All at the expense of others. Using manipulation and fear tactics to try to get employees to work more. And now, we're creating a MOVEMENT of new sales leaders. Heart-led, mission-driven, high-EQ leaders. Committed to lead by example and with integrity. (And who STILL want to make a lot of money by the way bc there's nothing wrong with that) By refusing to intentionally hurt or bulldoze anyone who gets in their way and instead live with love, compassion, and understanding. Selling with an elevated level of consciousness. All while part of a community of others on the journey. THIS is the new wave of sales. ??
