Welcome to the launch of Allure Next, a new series of covers that celebrates the most exciting emerging talent. While these young stars bring their diverse gifts to music, TV, movies, and the like, they are also poised to become a new generation of beauty trendsetters. First up is actor and singer Madison Bailey, who plays Kiara in the Netflix hit Outer Banks. Allure Magazine is seeking excited and organized candidates to support the Associate Beauty Director (that's me!) on tentpole projects, such as Best of Beauty Awards and Readers’ Choice Awards. This is an in-office role (must be based in the New York City area) for 30 hours a week for a six-month period, beginning January 6. (The role will end at the end of May 2025.) Desire skills and qualifications: - 1-2 years experience as an intern in a beauty department at a publication or beauty brand - Strong organizational and multitasking skills - Ambitious and proactive - Eager to learn and contribute - Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced digital environment

Just returned from an amazing trip to Japan and South Korea with Allure Magazine and Savannah College of Art and Design. This incredible experience was focused on exploring the intersection of editorial beauty and innovation in these markets. Our mission was to uncover unique opportunities and trends that could shape the future of beauty storytelling. We then presented our findings to Allure Magazine, showcasing how these insights could redefine beauty content creation and consumption. I am grateful for the chance to collaborate with such forward-thinking teams and to learn from two of the most inspiring beauty capitals in the world. We present our final project to Allure magazine in late January!
