This week @alltheworldskids Global Impact Expedition Committee met and reviewed 10 applications for the upcoming GIE program to Cambodia in June 2025! Six students were selected and welcomed to the program, each receiving their welcome letter and @dearfutureleader_book to get them excited for the opportunity of a lifetime. In June 2025 these students will travel to Cambodia to partner with @waterforcambodia to build and deliver water filters to the countryside villages in need of clean water. While there is so much to digest in the leading months of preparing for an expedition like this, we know one thing is for certain, we are raising and engaging our Future Leaders in community engagement, service, and leadership, that will be life skills for these youth. There is nothing better than putting in an application and being accepted to answer the call of service. Next up, ?? All The World’s Kids Leadership Team is headed to Denver, Colorado to partake in the Grant Professionals Association Grant Writing Conference hosted by @gpagrantpros where we hope to learn as much as possible in obtaining resources to continue supporting All The World’s Kids mission and programs like our Global Impact Expedition! Lesson of the Day: Practice saying goodbye I remember being younger, but old enough to understand that she was dying. She was in radiation and my grandfather was taking care of her at the farm house. The entire family was there visiting, being, loving, living, celebrating life, celebrating one another and mostly celebrating her. I remember when my mom came inside and she said, “we will all have turns saying goodbye. She might not make it and this could be the last time we see her.” We lined up, one at a time. I wondered what do you say when you know it’s the last time you may ever have with someone? I could help but cry. “It’s your turn.” My grandfather said. I walked in to the room where she was. I remember thinking, what do I even say? So I just sat there and held her hand. She began to speak. She was light about it all. Her smile, infectious. Her soul seeping from her. She took time to tell me lessons she’d learned over the years and shared them with me to help me in this game of life. She held my hands and my hands held hers. We cried silently, then laughed aloud in unison. We hugged and then said goodbye. Practice your goodbyes. Practice telling people what they mean to you. Practice letting them know your feelings. Practice forgiving, releasing, accepting. She didn’t pass away right after that visit. In fact she lived almost a year after that. When she passed away, I smiled and remembered the time we practiced saying goodbye. I knew we did it the right way. On our time, in our words. That made all the difference in letting her go when she did. Practice saying your goodbyes. People deserve to know what they mean to you- and you to them— before you don’t have the chance to say goodbye at all. Practice it today for tomorrow isn’t promised. And if it is promised, at least you practiced and said what you wanted to say. #LOTD #practice

If tomorrow was your last day on earth and you knew it-- how would you spend it? Whatever that looks like- do that tomorrow. Make the most beautiful meal for yourself, write, read, paint. Be in the moment and really celebrate. Love the people around you. Help a neighbor. Go for a walk. Go for a run. Take a moment to really hold your heart in your hand and feel your breath in your lungs. Fall asleep knowing you lived the day the way you wanted to/ forgiving, living and loving. You are what the world needs more of. Don’t wait for the perfect date, start today, and celebrate. #LOTD #yougotthis #celebrate

Lesson of the Day: A change of feeling is a change of destiny ?? Our feelings are indicators of what we truly want. This is a magical opportunity to trust yourself. Five things I have learned about feelings; 1. Feelings are intuitive direction 2. Feelings are updated in real time 3. Feelings will not stop you, however they are trying to help guide you 4. Feelings are a gift not a hindrance 5. Feelings allow for you to consciously checkin with your true self, your higher self My wish for you today is to trust your feelings. Trust the tiny indicators that is whispering “no this isn’t what I want” over society’s “this would look better if you do…” Trusting ourselves is the key when it comes to our feelings. You are your own spiritual guide. Surrender to the idea of how you think things should be, and be open to receive what is meant to be. What happens when you stop asking youth what they want to be when they grow up and instead challenge them with the question of what problem do you want to solve? Today at @15thstfarm with @academy_prep_stpete students, we did just that! Raising and engaging our Future Leaders means giving them the chance to put their hands in the soil, to problem solve, to work together, to hold hands and help one another. Congratulations to @alltheworldskids for a successful Future Leader Advocacy Day Event in partnership with local community partners to highlight the importance of sustainability, local farming, wellness, team building and so much more! Lesson of the day: What you focus on becomes bigger ?? One of the biggest tools we can have in our back pocket is simple and all too often the opportunity that presents itself for us to implement this tool is unused. ?? Media and instant information provides us with all the views of the not so feeling good feeling things that can take our energy, time and attention. And uh- Future Leader, your Time, Energy, and Attention are the KEYS to your success here in the 3D while visiting in this meatsuit. ?? Let’s face it - what you focus on, always becomes bigger. What are you choosing to FOCUS on? Are you noticing the bad feelings, highlighting the worst case scenario, experiencing the hardest character building lesson of your life? ?? Break it down: When you find the thought that doesn’t feel so smart, seek within you, or around you, a feeling better feel or thought. Because, ALWAYS, always, what you focus on expands your reality. ?? Break the chains of being a prisoner to confined ways of thinking. You don’t have to be stuck- you are the one holding the keys to the chains you feel locked in by. ?? Find the warm thought, the one that activates your sparkle, imagine the possibilities of what is to come. AND LIPSTICK ??. Honey, have the confidence to put 27 coats of lipstick on because 26 IS NOT ENOUGH. Give yourself MAIN character energy, own your energy, celebrate it. DRAW IN and CAPTIVATE the world because YOU LOVE YOURSELF so much that if you were the only one here dancing on this rock in outer space, you’d still be HAVING A GOOD TIME.
