Earlier this week, Humana CEO Jim Rechtin joined Better Medicare Alliance President and CEO Mary Beth Donahue at the 2024 Leadership and Policy Forum in Washington, D.C. They covered the current state of the Medicare Advantage and emphasized its value, outcomes and cost savings for seniors, alongside the need for collaboration with policymakers. During the discussion, Jim stressed the importance of research and data to drive better care, highlighting a recent first-of-its-kind study uncovering the health benefits of senior-focused primary care—recently published by the Humana Healthcare Research team in collaboration with Harvard University.
