Allonnia has successfully completed two Department of Defense SERDP & ESTCP demonstrations, showcasing the power of the SAFF technology in tackling PFAS-impacted water contamination. ?? Biddle Air National Guard Base in Pennsylvania – More than 4,200,000 gallons of water was treated by SAFF, producing only 149 gallons of tertiary PFAS concentrate. SAFF efficiently separated and concentrated PFAS and was paired with multiple destruction technologies. Learn more about this joint effort with Defense Innovation Unit (DIU): https://hubs.li/Q03ck0680 ?? Wurtsmith Air Force Base in Michigan – SAFF treated >700,000 gallons of water and worked alongside Revive Environmental's PFAS Annihilator to destroy the PFAS concentrate, delivering a closed-loop remediation solution. These pilots demonstrate SAFF as a cost-effective, off-the-shelf commercial treatment system to treat PFAS-impacted water. Stay tuned for more case study details! #PFAS #ForeverChemicals

How does Allonnia’s D-Solve process work? By leveraging naturally occurring microbes, our Biosolution dissolves gangue minerals, purifies valuable concentrates, and unlocks new potential for waste streams. The result? More efficient mineral processing with less CO2, reduced tailings and slag, and higher mineral recovery. Nature heals itself. We just need to speed up the process… In my conversation with Michelle Baltazar on The Greener Way podcast, we explore how Allonnia is working on challenging problems including PFAS removal and using synthetic biology to turn mining waste into valuable resources. ?? Instead of digging deeper and wasting precious materials, we're upcycling mining waste streams (like mine impacted water) to extract critical metals. It’s not just innovative—it’s sustainable. In this episode, we dive into: ·????????How Allonnia is using transformational biology to make mining cleaner ·????????The long-term investment challenges in transformative solutions ·????????How we can reduce greenhouse gas emissions in mining At Allonnia, we’re transforming the future of mining by turning waste into wealth. Tune in to learn how synthetic biology is changing the game! ?? ?https://lnkd.in/eq7zX5Ki Thank you Michelle for having me on and a fun conversation. @FSsustainability #MiningInnovation #SyntheticBiology #Sustainability #Allonnia #GreenerWayPodcast #CircularEconomy #InnovationInAction

Our CCO, Chuck Price, sat down with Global Mining Review to discuss how Allonnia's D-Solve technology achieved a milestone towards sustainably upgrading mineral concentrates. The recent demo achieved: ? 40% reduction in magnesium impurities from nickel-sulfide concentrate ? 18% increase in nickel grade This is a major leap toward decarbonizing mining and maximizing critical metal recovery—all with the power of biology. And we’re just getting started. We're planning to scale to a mobile pilot unit later this year! Read the full article: https://hubs.li/Q038GfQY0
