We had a great two days up in Buffalo as a sponsor of the New York State Association for Affordable Housing (NYSAFAH) Annual Upstate New York State Affordable Housing Conference! Over 500 industry professionals were in attendance to meet and support the growing need for affordable housing throughout the State of New York. Joseph Petrillo, John Martin, Tyler Gablenz, Abraham Hattar, and Hugh R. were in attendance from All New York Title.

On September 18th All New York Title hosted a state-wide CLE program in-person and online for 130 attendees to highlight the critical changes in the TIRSA Rate Manual effective October 1, 2024. Company founders Joseph Petrillo and John Martin worked on the original TIRSA manual in 1993 and have spent considerable time reviewing and analyzing the new TIRSA manual for their clients. Stay tuned for a follow up continuing legal education program that we are working on for the end of October, 2024.

Last week, we were pleased to host a discussion of the critical changes that will impact housing in New York City and the entire State of New York. ? Special thanks to Alvin Schein and Jason Hershkowitz of Seiden & Schein, P.C. who led us through an informative presentation on these changes to real property tax incentives as well as the new “Good Cause” eviction statutes. ? We pride ourselves on keeping clients informed whether it be with CLE programs for attorneys or programs such as this for a wider group.

We recently had the pleasure of attending the groundbreaking for 1601 DeKalb, which will bring 127 new affordable housing units to Bushwick. Congratulations to Camber Property Group and Riseboro Community Partnership on this important step in the process. We look forward to watching the progress and attending the ribbon cutting!

All New York Title Agency, Inc. is proud to begin the New Year with the promotion of Tyler Gablenz, Esq. to Vice President-Senior Underwriting Counsel. Since joining All New York in 2015, Tyler has focused his work on identifying and resolving title issues for both the commercial and residential branches of the business. His responsibilities include preparing and reviewing title reports, while also working alongside Joseph Petrillo, Esq. and John Martin, Esq. to assist clients and attorneys with closing complex commercial transactions. Prior to joining All New York, Tyler gained experience in real estate transactions working for a top real estate law firm in Connecticut while attending Quinnipiac University School of Law.
