Seven weeks from today, Oklahoma City’s largest martini tasting returns. ARTini: Havana Nights will take place on Saturday, May 17 from 7 to 11 PM at the Oklahoma City Convention Center. Now in its 22nd year, ARTini combines live entertainment, signature martinis from the city’s best restaurants, a curated silent art auction, and a vibrant community of arts supporters—all to raise critical funds for over 40 local arts and cultural organizations. Joining community, civic and cultural leaders across the state, the staff and board of Allied Arts profoundly mourns the loss of Terri Cornett. We had the great pleasure of working closely with Terri over the course of nearly 10 years. As Development Consultant for Allied Arts, Terri brought her sales and marketing acumen – along with her positive and kind spirit – to our fundraising efforts, elevating our donor management, prospecting and stewardship practices. In addition to managing a significant donor portfolio representing $2 million in contributions and employee giving campaigns, Terri played an instrumental role in new and exciting endeavors for Allied Arts including: winning the national nonprofit fundraising challenge, Brackets for Good; facilitating partnerships with major local and national companies as well as celebrities; and securing a piece of public art in downtown Oklahoma City to commemorate the Allied Arts 50th anniversary. We have sadly lost one of the most resolute and effective advocates for the arts in Oklahoma. In addition to her unrelenting passion and energy to champion on behalf of cultural, health and education causes, Terri was a friend to all – always sharing a genuine smile and her generous heart to anyone she encountered. We will miss Terri; the grace and compassion that she brought to Allied Arts cannot be replaced.

We are pleased to introduce the leadership team for our?2025 Campaign—a group of distinguished community leaders committed to strengthening Oklahoma’s arts and cultural sector. Leading the charge are our Campaign and Honorary Chairs: ?Sally & Jeff Starling – Philanthropists with extensive leadership experience in both the arts and civic sectors. ?Christian Keesee & Larry Keigwin – Visionary leaders who have significantly impacted the arts community. Together, they’re steering our efforts toward a goal to meet or exceed the more than $3.8 million goal raised in 2024. That money will go to support local arts organizations and keep Oklahoma’s vibrant cultural community thriving for generations to come. ?????? We’re so excited for what’s ahead!

Today, we had the pleasure of hosting our Agency Council at the Science Museum Oklahoma, bringing together all our member agencies for valuable updates and collaboration. Two highlights from the day made it extra special: ?? A few of us at Allied Arts had the chance to experience the incredible Love’s Planetarium! It’s truly a one-of-a-kind experience that leaves a lasting impression. ?? Our very own board member, Bailey Gordon, shared her insights on effective fundraising strategies. Bailey’s journey with Allied Arts has been transformative, and her expertise in development is invaluable. We’re grateful to learn from her knowledge and passion for nonprofit success! It’s always inspiring to gather with the community and strengthen our shared mission to support the arts in Oklahoma!
