Whatever its complicated origins, Thanksgiving has come to represent family and access to food. However, we know that the holidays are not merry or bountiful for everyone. At our holiday parties last week alone, we served thousands of pounds of food, and at our daily meal services, we serve far more throughout the year. Our nutrition classes and demonstrations aim to equip NYers to eat healthy, even on a budget or with the items we can provide from our pantry. https://lnkd.in/dn3cWZVa
