The ANCOR Tech Summit took place this week in Alexandria, VA, bringing together subject matter experts and peers from across the country. We exchanged ideas, gathered pro tips, and discussed strategies to harness the power of technology. This work will guide ANCOR as we support providers in navigating and leveraging these tools.

Alliance’s Ellen Jensby, along with many of our members, spoke at the inaugural Neuro-Inclusive Housing Summit in Boulder. This event was sponsored by the Boulder County Human Services IDD Mill Levy Program, in partnership with the Inclusive Housing Coalition, Colorado Housing and Finance Authority, and the Denver Human Services IDDEAS Program. The summit had 200 participants!

WINGS for All - Saturday, October 12, 2024 @ 10am Space is filling up fast...be sure to register soon! This event is FREE to all participants, but families are responsible for paying their own costs to travel to and from the airport. Space is limited and all families must pre-register online (please let us know if you or someone you know needs assistance with registration…we’re happy to help!) in order to pass through TSA security. Participant Registration:?https://lnkd.in/geimpNuZ The WINGS for All itinerary… Families (individual with IDD + up to 3 additional family members or supports) arrive at the airport around 10am and are greeted and checked-in for the days’ events by volunteers from the Colorado Arc Network (CAN), United Airlines, DEN airport and TSA staff, then will proceed to check-in at the ticket counter to receive their boarding pass, go through TSA security, and board a plane (that does not take off). A reception will be held for all participants with light snacks and refreshments after deboarding the plane.
