The Alliance Ohio Rotary Club will host a "Spooky Social Costume Party" in partnership with the Alliance Ohio Chamber of Commerce. Network with local Rotarians, learn about our pillars and goals for supporting the community and it's needs. Non-members are encouraged to attend. Union Avenue United Methodist Church has been making and selling apple dumplings to benefit the community since 2002. As always,?all?of the money made goes to support local non-profit organizations and community needs -- Habitat for Humanity, Alliance Community Pantry, the YMCA and YWCA, the Domestic Violence Shelter, the Salvation Army, our church's Community Outreach Fund, and our monthly community spaghetti dinners at Christ UMC. ? Apple dumplings are again being sold at the church Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Sunday mornings.?A pack of six of frozen dumplings sells for $12,?and we'll be making them through Thanksgiving. ? They also will deliver to offices and businesses with orders of five packs or more. Just call the church office at 330-823-9270.
