?? IF DESIGN AWARD WINNER: REWE MEET & GREET ??? We are thrilled to announce that the REWE MEET & GREET project with our Liquid Line has won the iF Design Award! ?? At REWE Headquarters Region West in Hürth close to Cologne, an exceptional transformation of a 1980s-built meeting and conference zone has taken place. The goal? A prestigious, sustainable, and flexible design that breathes new life into existing spaces. A key design highlight is our Liquid Line luminaire, produced and installed in the shape of a Carrera racetrack. Project Manager Thomas Bitz from REWE deliberately chose soft, organic, yet dynamic forms to contrast with the linear architecture of the room. The curved flow of the Liquid Line breaks the strict geometry of the space, adding movement and energy while reinforcing the project’s modern and flexible concept. More than just a lighting element, it acts as a visual guide, drawing the eye upward and emphasizing the spaciousness created by the exposed ceiling. The interplay of light and form ensures an engaging spatial experience, while the adaptable illumination settings create different atmospheres tailored to meetings, coworking, and events. ?? Flindt Plaza is based on the same design language and basic idea of the Flindt family, a single asymmetrical carving opens up the light. This distinctive carving adds character to the luminaire. It serves as a dimming reflector, softening the light and making it more pleasant in the dark while directing it precisely where light is needed.
