On Wednesday, together with our member Prime Video & Amazon MGM Studios, we brought together industry leaders, policymakers, and creators at the majestic Bibliothèque Solvay for an exclusive showcase of recent and upcoming Polish productions—including a biopic on boxing icon?Jerzy Kulej,?and documentaries on Poland’s legendary ski-jumping national team and Barcelona F.C. goalkeeper?Wojciech Szcz?sny. The event also sparked key discussions on protecting Polish productions. Deputy Minister for Culture and National Heritage of Poland Marta Cienkowska,????????????producer Krzysztof Terej and actor Tomasz Kot, highlighted the importance of?supporting and safeguarding Polish storytelling and culture.?Meanwhile, MEP Bogdan Zdrojewski and ACE Investigation Manager Denis Ozcan addressed the impact of piracy on creators and consumers alike. ???Users are?30x more likely?to encounter malware on pirate sites. ???1 in 4?piracy websites expose users to malicious content. ???72%?of piracy subscribers experience credit card fraud.?
