BREAKING: On behalf of the video-sharing platform Rumble, we’ve filed a federal lawsuit against California. Rumble is challenging California’s political censorship laws, which were recently passed and signed by Gov. Gavin Newsom. ? ? These laws target and punish speakers for posting certain political commentary online. One of the laws, AB 2655, also requires large online platforms like Rumble to act as the government’s censorship police and remove such content from their sites. ? ? The law forces Rumble to train its team to remove and label content based on inherently subjective terms that pollsters and government officials can’t even agree on, like what will “harm … electoral prospects” or “undermine confidence” in an election. And if Rumble doesn’t comply, AB 2655 authorizes officials to file suit against it.? ? All of this violates the First Amendment.? ? “We can’t trust the government to decide what is true in our online political debates,” said ADF’s Phil Sechler. “Rumble is one of the few online voices stepping up against this trend of censorship while other platforms and sites cave to totalitarian regimes censoring Americans.”? ? This is the second lawsuit ADF has filed challenging California's laws. In September, we filed a similar lawsuit on behalf of The Babylon Bee and California attorney Kelly Chang Rickert. Since then, California has agreed not to enforce its law against these clients while the case continues. ? ? Free speech is precious. Every American should be ready to defend it.?

MUST WATCH: Instead of addressing her mental health needs, doctors pushed Prisha Mosley to alter her body—when she was still a child. Listen as she shares the ways this so-called "care" devastated her health. Twenty-six states now have laws protecting minors from this irreversible harm. Next week at SCOTUS, Tennessee will defend its law ... because #KidsHealthMatters

The First Amendment protects your right to disagree with the government's view—and to say so. We're grateful that so many states & free speech advocates are supporting Liam, who was stopped from wearing his "Only Two Genders" t-shirt at school. We hope SCOTUS will take his case.

Next week, SCOTUS will consider a major case about so-called “gender transitions” for kids. On 12/4, the Court will hear arguments in U.S. v. Skrmetti: a case about whether states can protect kids from harmful treatments like puberty blockers & cross-sex hormones. The Biden admin & the ACLU are arguing that these experimental treatments are a “constitutional right.” But ADF & many others are standing with Tennessee AG Jonathan Skrmetti as he defends the state’s commonsense law. Our view is clear: no one has the right to harm a child. Advocates for kids’ health are coming together that day for a rally organized by Do No Harm. Join us on #SCOTUS steps from 8am-12:30pm. ?? Let’s send a clear message: stop experimenting on children. #kidshealthmatters

The 2024 election results should mark the beginning of the end for DEI in corporate America. These discriminatory and divisive programs are bad for business—and bad for America. https://bit.ly/40YYF2w

The consensus across America is growing: women’s sports must be protected. ? Americans are tired of seeing women and girls pushed off their own podiums, tired of pretending there’s no difference between male and female, tired of the assault on reality. The tide is turning. ? But it’s too early to celebrate. Gender ideology still runs deep in American policy, from local schools to federal agencies. Recently, two U.S. circuit courts ruled against good women’s sports laws in Idaho and West Virginia. We’re representing female athletes in both cases—and we’ve appealed those rulings to the U.S. Supreme Court. ? We’re currently waiting to hear if the Court will grant that appeal. And we aren’t the only ones. ? Female athletes across the nation—from elementary school through college—are waiting. They’re waiting to find out whether the sports their grandmothers fought to give them will still exist. They’re waiting to see if America will acknowledge that their femaleness is real—and deserving of respect. They’re waiting to find out whether their rights matter too. ? We think they’ve waited long enough. It’s time for the U.S. Supreme Court to take up the issue of women’s sports. #SaveWomensSports

The vast majority of Americans believe in protecting women's sports. Will Democrats get the memo and make this a true bipartisan issue—or will the insistence on denying reality persist? ? ADF's Grant Atkinson writes more on the issue: https://bit.ly/3ARHXYe
