ADF has been blessed with the opportunity to argue not one but two cases at the Supreme Court this year. 1?? April 2, 2025 (Medina v. Planned Parenthood South Atlantic): ADF will be representing South Carolina against Planned Parenthood defending the state’s freedom to defund this dangerous abortion giant. States should be free to fund real, comprehensive care and exclude organizations like Planned Parenthood—whose primary business is abortion—from public funding. 2?? April 30, 2025 (Oklahoma Statewide Charter School Board v. Drummond) Oklahoma's Attorney General is seeking to cancel the Statewide Charter School contract entered with St. Isidore of Seville Catholic Virtual School solely because it is Catholic. St. Isidore welcomes all students, no matter their religious beliefs, and students go there only if their parents choose it. Additionally, we still have five cases pending cert grant before the U.S. Supreme Court this year: ??? First Choice Women’s Resource Centers v. Platkin ??? Chiles v. Salazar ??? L.M. v. Town of Middleborough ??? B.P.J. v. West Virginia State Board of Education ??? Hecox v. Little Please pray for our clients and our attorney teams arguing and preparing for these important cases. ADF's Center for Free Speech sent the first two, of what will be more than a dozen, public records requests to federal government agencies seeking information related to possible free speech violations. The two Freedom of Information Act letters sent Friday request that 1.) the National Science Foundation disclose information related to its funding of tools that may be used to censor Americans’ speech, and 2.) provide information regarding its cooperation with organizations to moderate online speech. https://lnkd.in/djiehcnt

Children who are looking for answers to deeply personal questions should be permitted to explore their thoughts with a private counselor. Unfortunatley, there are local governments who have adopted ordinances—which they misleadingly call conversion therapy bans—that prohibit voluntary conversations between counselors and minors that aim to help the client embrace his or her biological sex. Many European countries once pioneered using puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and permanent surgeries on children who identified as the opposite sex. But now, those countries have pulled back and restricted minors’ access based on safety and efficacy concerns. You can find more commentary on this below written ?? by Missouri AG Andrew Bailey and ADF's Bryan Neihart. https://bit.ly/4hYmSeX

Chelsea Mynyk can’t remember a time when she didn’t love babies. And mothers. And anything having to do with giving birth. So, when she entered college, she began to study nursing with a focus on labor and delivery. But, in her home state of Colorado, she soon faced a difficult reality. In the latest issue of Faith & Justice magazine, you'll read more of Chelsea's story and how she fights for the right to save babies through Abortion Pill Reversal (APR). Also in this issue … ? “I never anticipated that our religious beliefs would prevent us from receiving the same benefits as other nonprofits,” Yuan said in a statement to WORLD. “Yet some corporations, emboldened by intersectional ideology and anti-Christian sentiment, choose to unlawfully discriminate based solely on religion. This must stop.” https://bit.ly/41FrLnP

?? BREAKING ?? On behalf of Female Athletes United, ADF filed to intervene in a lawsuit by the ACLU to not only strike down New Hampshire’s law that protects women’s sports but also Trump’s executive order protecting girls and children from gender ideology. This is the first lawsuit against the executive orders, and it could impact women and children on a national scale. https://bit.ly/4gWZb5q
