These are the words that described the last All Forward CONNECTIONS experience for the Willow Harvesting & Fire Side Chat at the Greenfield Berry Farm in the CVNP! It was an incredible evening of sharing stories, muddy boots, and the warmth of a winter fire under the stars. We loved seeing everyone embrace the elements—powering through the cold breezes while we harvested pussy willows and made meaningful connections. With warmer weather ahead, join us for the next All Forward CONNECTIONS experience - night hike and chat with owners of Peninsula Coffee House & Wine Cellar March 19 from 6:30-9:30 pm.?We will kick off at purplebrown store and as the sun goes down, grab headlamps to experience a walk/hike on the towpath in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park with programming focused on building connections and expanding your circles. As we close out another impactful year at All Forward, we’re filled with gratitude for the incredible experiences we’ve shared with our clients, partners, and dedicated team. Together, we’ve curated outdoor learning experiences that develop leaders, strengthen teams, and support well-being—all while connecting and moving people, organizations, and our local community forward. Since 2022, we’ve proudly partnered with 31 small businesses and local nonprofits, creating 56 unique experiences that have touched the lives of 560 participants. This year, our adventures have taken teams on: ? Navigating the terrain of CVNP ? Hiking from urban streets to scenic trails ? Cycling along the historic towpath ? Paddling on the Cuyahoga River ? Crafting nature-inspired art ? Visiting local farms and savoring fresh, local food Thank you to everyone who has supported, collaborated, and shared in our mission to advance what’s possible. We took leadership and team development out of the conference room and into the stunning terrain of Cuyahoga Valley National Park for an unforgettable navigation experience. The Gries Leadership Team brought energy, strategy, collaboration, and adaptability to the forefront. Tires galore, a tricycle, construction barrels, and even a bowling ball in the Cuyahoga River... oh my! 42 volunteers removed over?1,250 lbs pounds of litter/items?from the Cuyahoga River in just one September River Clean Up! WOW!? What an impact! ? Cuyahoga Valley Adventures shared that the haul included: 70 tires & lots of bike tires/small rubber, 8 traffic cones/barrels, 1 trash can, 1 rake head, 1 bowling ball, 1 bike, 1 little tikes tricycle, 1 car battery, 1 fuel tank A HUGE thank you to the incredible volunteers who came out to help clean up our Cuyahoga River. From new faces to past All Forward participants, your passion for protecting the river shines! A loud shoutout to Cuyahoga Valley Adventures and Summit Metro Parks for making this possible, with support from the H2Ohio Healthy Rivers Livery Program. Together, we’re making a difference, one cleanup at a time…and having a lot of fun along the way.
