关于我们
Alley Cat Advocates was incorporated in 1999 as a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization whose mission is to provide for the humane treatment of unowned cats in the metropolitan Louisville, Kentucky area. In striving to accomplish our mission, our efforts focus on directing a Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program in the safest, most efficient and cost effective way possible. Alley Cat Advocates has spayed / neutered over 60,000 unowned community cats in the Kentuckiana area. The organization has been recognized for best practices and as a national model for reducing overpopulation.

Our full building generator has been installed just in time for colder weather. This was made possible by a grant from The Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels and matching funds from a few private donors. We are grateful for their generosity and so thankful we won't have to worry about keeping cats warm in the event of a power outage this winter!

Retired grandmother of 3, Gail finds a way to make room for Alley Cat Advocates volunteer activities in her life. Gail learned about Alley Cat Advocates as a caretaker for 3 community cats. She decided to come on board as a trapping volunteer and has been a valuable asset to the team. Gail knows firsthand how trap-neuter-return improves the lives of community cats. That is what led her to volunteer. In addition to her 3 community cats, Gail runs a small business, has many hobbies, and enjoys her 4 dogs and 3 house cats. She is also active in the lives of her grandchildren. Join us in saying thank you to Gail!
