Hello Everyone, I know you are all making preparations for hurricane Milton which is expected to make landfall along Florida’s west coast on Wednesday.?We wanted to send a few clinical reminders as part of your preparations: Medications – Ensure you have sufficient supplies of medications in case you are unable to get refills from your pharmacy in the days after the storm. MARs – Print paper copies of all current MARs and make an electronic backup that can be accessed in the event of power/internet failure.?Reach out if you need any assistance with your EMAR. Medical supplies – Ensure sufficient supplies of any medical supplies used by residents, such as wound care supplies, oxygen, etc. Oxygen – Have portable oxygen available for residents that require it.
