Most Allen County offices will be closed this Thursday and Friday, November 28th and 29th, to observe Thanksgiving. There are many county departments that provide 24/7 functions, such as the Sheriff’s Department, Community Corrections, Allen County Juvenile Center, and Youth Services Center. We recognize and thank Allen County employees who work through this holiday, which has traditionally been set aside for rest and time with friends and family. If you are unsure if you have an appointment with a county department on Thursday or Friday, please call ahead to verify the time and location. Legislative Session will not meet Friday, 11/29/2024, in consideration of the holiday.
