Throughout 2024, we’ve sensed a powerful shift in branding. The once clean, polished, and generalized aesthetics adopted by brands in recent years stripped away individuality in an effort to appeal to a broader audience. As designers, we’ve seen how this left markets craving connection and personality. Now, change is in the air: ? Sans serif fonts are being cast aside for retro and serif styles. ? Crisp iconography is giving way to original, customized illustrations. ? Cool, corporate colors are being replaced by earth tones and intricate color palettes. We’ve watched this trend emerge and eagerly hoped for rich, storytelling brand identities to resurface. PRINT Magazine’s latest article seems to confirm our observations might just come true!
