Marketing Growth Costs Nothing (Part 2)

I’ve got five or six more low-cost marketing strategies and tactics that you can easily implement to gain more leads and grow your income.
Okay, here we go.
9. Handwritten letters
Handwritten letters are so underrated.
Let me ask you this, would you throw away an envelope that came through the post that felt substantial and had some substance to it? Perhaps with a handwritten note with your name and address? No, you wouldn’t. You physically couldn’t do it.
So for collaborations, for partners and for the big fish influencers that you want to attract to your business and collaborate with, spend some time writing them a letter because it will make you stand out. You’re not gonna do that for a million people, but you might pick your top 50 that you’d really love to work with.
10. Add a call to action to your emails
This is a good one, If you send emails out, make sure you put a call to action in your PS because most people will read the PS. So for any email that you send out, whether it’s just on your outlook or your normal email or in a more automated marketing email, always put a PS with a call to action for your book, your podcast or even for an upcoming event you might be running.
11. Newsjacking
This one can really help you grow your following and get you in front of a bigger audience. So, if you comment on breaking news fast and newsjack it by commenting on it, sharing your opinion and linking it softly to your business or product or service you can spark a debate and go viral because it’s topical news everyone is reading about.
So, you can post this on LinkedIn or Clubhouse and get hundreds, thousands or even millions of views on breaking news stories.
12. Create content and tag in an influencer
You can create content and tag in an influencer to get a discussion going because It works. Influencers struggle to keep up with the amount of content that they need to post across all of the social platforms. It’s hard to keep up, so if you tag in influencers on topics and debate them with ideas and discussions around content from you it will help you collaborate with them and get you and your profile noticed.
13. Learn how to sell anything to anybody
In part 1 of this blog, I told you I would be sharing a book with you that will help to supercharge your marketing and it costs absolutely nothing. It’s called How To Sell Anything to Anybody by Joe Girardi.
And Joe Girardi has the world record for selling the most amount of cars and the tactics that he uses are priceless for your business and this book was written 20 years ago and the lessons in this book still stand today.
So how did he sell so many cars? The answer, master the art of recommendations and referrals. If you can get your audience to recommend your products and services then it will bring you many more sales over and over again.
I don’t want to spoil it for you so make sure that you read the book How to Sell Anything to Anybody and begin to implement the lessons into your business to grow your sales and market your business by referrals and recommendations.
