Did you know February is Career & Technical Education (CTE) Month? We're proud to partner with both the Jackson River Technical Center (JRTC) and Mountain Gateway Community College (MGCC) to support CTE to prepare students for the workforce across a wide range of industries and create a pipeline of employees for various industries and companies in our communities and beyond. Through these innovative partnerships, together with MGCC, we have developed a course to train workers for Green Thumb Industries. We work to support AHEDC in competing for opportunities that may arise from its existing business community or that it might otherwise identify. We provide tremendous value as a subject matter expert, resource connector, and consultant and provides value in several other tangible ways. This includes supporting the AHEDC, Alleghany County, and the City of Covington in securing grant funding for business park improvements, consideration of various real estate and or economic development strategies, consultation on outdoor related events, talent recruitment support for newly locating or expanding business, etc.” ?????? ???? ???????????????? ?????????????????????? ?????????????? ???????????????? ?????????????? ?????? ?????? ?????????? ???????????? ???? ????????? “Project activity remains at a high level. 2024 wrapped with a record number of new project files opened.
